In Iraq, seven civilians were killed and 21 others wounded today when a car bomb ripped through an outdoor market in the southern Baghdad city of al-Mahmoudiya . According to Voice of Iraq news agency, it struck just as town residents were shopping for food to break their fast. The police sealed off the blast scene while the wounded were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment.
