In Jammu and Kashmir, at least seven persons were killed and 25 injured when a passenger bus rolled down into a gorge on Jammu-Srinagar national highway today. According to official sources the bus which was coming to Jammu from Anantnag skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge at Nandi, 40 km from Jammu. While three people died on the spot, four others succumbed to their injuries in Government Medical College, Hospital where the injured were shifted. Condition of some of the injured is stated to be critical. Rescue operations are still going on at the site of the accident. Death toll may rise. Further details are awaited.
