In Afghanistan, at least seven people have been killed amongst the seventy villagers abducted on Friday in village of Shah Walikot district of Kandahar province. <br/><br/>The provincial police have accused the Taliban of the kidnappings and said Taliban set free 30 villagers and were still holding 33 in captivity. Fighting is underway in several northern and southern provinces in Afghanistan, including Helmand where 16 Afghan police officers were killed by a US airstrike on Friday night.
