A suicide bomber targeted a Shia procession in Pakistan's eastern Lahore city on Tuesday, killing at least seven persons, including four policemen. 40 others were also injured in the blast. The blast occurred at Lahori Gate near Karbala Gamay Shah, a Shia 'imambargah' or prayer hall. Superintendent of Police (Security) Faisal Rana told the media that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber.
