In Uttar Pradesh, at least seven persons including two minors were killed and eight others seriously injured in two separate blasts in a fire cracker units in Maharajganj and Kanpur districts. Our Lucknow correspondent reports that in Maharajganj district massive explosion took place in Zubair fireworks unit while crackers were being made under Bijmanganj police station area. Four people died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries on way to hospital. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
