7 European nations’ envoy to visit Nagaland to explore investment opportunities

Seven ambassadors from European nations are arriving in Kohima today on a three-day visit to Nagaland to explore investment opportunities in the state. The ambassadors of Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Poland, Slovakia and members from the European Union will visit Nagaland as a single team.

Union Home Ministry officials said, the diplomats would be made aware about investment potential in tourism, agriculture and allied sectors, mineral and power, Information Technology and education in Nagaland in the backdrop of Centre’s renewed thrust on India’s Look East policy and Nagaland’s close proximity to ASEAN countries.

The ambassadors would meet the governor and the Chief Minister, besides having interaction with business chambers and entrepreneurs.
