7 cops killed in landmine blast triggered by Maoists in Bihar

Seven policemen were killed in a landmine blast triggered by Maoists in Chandragarh village in Aurangabad district of Bihar this evening.

Nabinagar Police Inspector Dhruv Kumar Singh said the slain police personnel included Officer in charge of Tandwa police station Ajay Kumar. They were killed on the spot in the blast. He said the ultras triggered the blast when the police team was returning after attending meeting.
