An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.1 has struck central and southern Chile. The quake had its epicentre just off the Pacific coast near the city of Temuco. So far, there are no reports of casualties. Last February, a much bigger quake and tsunami struck the same region causing massive destruction and killing more than four hundred people.
