<span style="color: #222222;">In Mizoram, the 6th International Day of Yoga was celebrated by a cross section of people in different parts of the state.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Governor PS Shreedharan Pillai led the celebration by performing different yoga at Raj Bhavan. In a tweet, the Governor emphasised on the importance of yoga for having a healthy mind and body.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This year, while joining the yoga practices, participants have followed COVID-19 protocols and performed at their homes following the theme 'Yoga at Home, Yoga with Families'.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The personnel and families of 46 Assam Rifles organised personal yoga practices at its battalion headquarters at Aizawl &amp; all companies' posts on the theme 'Yoga at Home, Yoga with Family'. An official said, the aim of the event was to promote a natural, healthy and disease free lifestyle through yoga amongst the troops and families.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In a statement, the Assam Rifles said, yoga is not just about exercise; rather it is a way to discover the sense of oneness with self, the world and nature. Even at the time of the lockdown, this effort has been a powerful means to deal with stress of uncertainty and isolation and to maintain physical wellbeing.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Also, the teachers and students of Kendriya Vidyalaya and youth of Nehru Yuva Kendra have also performed different types of yoga at their homes following the theme of this year – Yoga at Home, Yoga with families.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
