6th Asian Championship: Indian wushu team wins 4 silver, 5 bronze medals

The Indian wushu team won four silver and five bronze medals in the 6th Asian Championship which drew to a close in Taoyuan, Taiwan today. Pars Cup gold-medallist L Budhachandra Singh lost the gold medal bout against Van Bau of Vietnam To in 56Kg category and Praveen Kumar lost the 48Kg finals to Minh Duc Vu. K Arunpama Devi (90Kg) and Rajinder Singh (60Kg) were the other silver-medallists. The Bronze medal winners included Y Santhoi Devi (52Kg), Pooja Kadian (65Kg), Vishakha Malik (70Kg), and Rajani Deori (75Kg).
