68 Al-Qaeda prisoners escape from Yemen jail

In Yemen, at least 68 Al-Qaeda prisoners escaped from a central jail in the southeastern province of Hadramout, through a tunnel they had dug over the past few months. Intelligence Chief in Mukalla city Abdullah al-Jirazie said the escaping Al-Qaeda militants also attacked the security persons outside the prison killing one soldier and injuring two others. The Officials denied that the prison was attacked by Al-Qaeda militants. Security has been tightened in the city following the prison break.
