In Puducherry, Health Minister Malladi Krishna Rao today said that a 64-year old lady tested positive for the Corona virus disease (COVID-19).<br />'' <br />'' Talking to news persons, the Minister said that this lady is from Cuddalore of Tamil Nadu and not from Puducherry. She is a cancer patient getting treatment at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. She has been admitted to the Isolation Ward of JIPMER and being treated there.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Rao said that as on date only three positive cases have been reported in Puducherry and one more sample will be tested today and another tomorrow.<br />'' <br />'' In continuation, a JIPMER press release said that on contact tracing two of the relatives of the old lady also tested positive for COVID-19, have also been isolated in the same hospital.<br />''  <br />'' Dr Mohan Kumar, Director Medical Services (DMS) said that more tests are being conducted from containment areas. All the 300 samples tested in the last two days proved negative, he added.<br />'' He urged the people to download Aarogya Setu app, that would help ensure safety of the people.<br />
