63 candidates file nominations for Bihar elections

In Bihar, 63 candidates have filed their nominations for the first and second phase of elections in the state. AIR Patna correspondent reports that with this total number of nomination papers filed for the first phase has gone upto 105 and the second phase up to 26 . Congress party has released the second list of 46 candidates for the elections. With this party has so far cleared the name of 123 candidates. The party has decided to fight on all 243 assembly seats. The Rastriya Janata Dal (RJD)has released the list of 65 candidates for the first and second phase of elections in the state. On the other hand Janata Dal (United) has released the second list of 73 candidates. With this ruling party has released a list of 127 candidates. The party has denied tickets to five sitting MLAs in the second list. The Janata dal (United) is to contest on 141 seats.
