In Bihar, altogether 629 candidates have filed nomination for the first phase of election to be held on October 12. Today was the last day of filling of nomination papers. Scruiting will take place tomorrow. Candidates can withdraw their nomination paper till 26th October. Health Minister and Veteran JD (U) leader Ramdhani Singh today resigned from his post following denial of ticket from JD(U). Mr. Singh announced to join Samajwadi Party. <br/><br/>CPI (ML) today released the second list of 19 candidates. The party has so far released the list of 72 candidates. Six Left parties including CPI, CPM and CPI (ML) are contesting elections jointly. Under seat sharing formula CPI (ML) are contesting on 98 seats. JMM has also released the name of five candidates.
