60th year of India -China diplomatic relations celebrated in Delhi

<br/>The national security advisor Mr. Shiv Sankar Menon today said that India and China have found a way to deal the most complicated and difficult issue of Boundary between the two countries. Speaking at a Seminar to mark the 60th year of establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries in New Delhi, Mr. Menon said, the trend towards multi-polarity and the recent financial crisis have increased the opportunity and need for India and China to work together and both have great space in Asia and the world to grow and develop. He also said that the differences in worldviews, structure, systems and foreign policy decisions will not prevent the countries in doing so.<br/><br/>The NSA underlined that both countries are sharing common position and approaches on several international issues of long-term significance such as environment and climate change, energy security, food security, remaking the institutions of global governance and international support for national economic and social development efforts. Mr. Menon said that both countries along with other rising powers in Asia must be willing and capable of contributing to global public goods in terms of security, growth and stability.
