The 60th National School Games will be organised in November this year. It will be held in six sporting disciplines. Around 4,000 sports persons from across the country are likely to participate in the games. Punjab Education Minister Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said that the games will be organised in two phases – at Sri Anandpur Sahib and Bathinda. The events include Handball Under-19 (boys and girls), Boxing Under-14 and Under-17 (boys) and National Style Kabaddi Under-19 (boys and girls), which will be held at Sri Anandpur Sahib from November13 to 18. In the second phase, Dodgeball Under-19 (boys and girls) and Circle Style Kabaddi Under-17 and Under-19 (boys) will take place at Bathinda from November 20 to 25.
