Hindi feature film Paan Singh Tomar has been adjudged as the best feature film for the year 2012.

The Best Actor award has been shared by Irrfaan Khan playing the title role in Paan Singh Tomar and Vikram Gokhale for the Marathi film Anumati. The National Film Awards were announced in New Delhi on Monday.

Usha Jadhav has been selected for the Best Actress award for her performance in Marathi film Dhag.

While, the award for the Best Director has been given to Shivaji Lotan Patil for the Marathi film Dhag and the award for the best Supporting Actor has been conferred on Anu Kapur for the film Vicky Donor.

The award for the best supporting Actress has been given jointly to Dolly Ahluwalia for the film Vicky Donor and Kalpana for the Malyalam film ThanichallaNjan.

Hindi film Vicky Donor and Malayalam film Ustad Hotel have jointly bagged the award for the Best Popular Film for providing wholesome entertainment.

Shankar Mahadevan has been selected for the Best Male playback singer for the song Bolo Na for the film Chittagong and Samhita for the Best Female Playback singer for the song Palakein Naa Moon Don in Marathi film Arati Anklekartikek.

The award for the best Screen play writer has gone to Sujoy Ghosh for the film Kahaani. The best lyrics award has gone to Prasoon Joshi for his song Bolo Na from the film Chittagong.

In the non-feature film category, film Shepherds of Paradise produced in Gojri and Urdu has bagged the Best Film award. In this category, Vikrant Pawar has been selected for the Best Director award for the Marathi film Kaatal
