More than 600 million people will be issued the Unique Identification Numbers, Aadhar by the March 2014. This information was given by Minister of State for Planning, Ashwani Kumar in a written reply in Lok Sabha today.

A total of three crore, eleven lakh, eighty four thousand, six hundred and thirty aadhar numbers were issued till 1st of September this year. The Minister in his reply said the estimated cost of the project being undertaken by the Unique Identification Authority of India spread over five years is over 3170 crore rupees.
