In Haryana, on Thursday nearly 60 people have been hospitalised in Panipat after consuming Kuttu Atta or buckwheat flour on Navratra fast. According to Health officials, those affected have been admitted to the civil hospital and private hospitals.All are said to be out of danger now. Panipat civil hospital medical officer Dr Sunil Kumar has confirmed the admission of patients who fell ill after consuming Kuttu Atta. He said that health officials and city police has raided shops from where the flour was sold to the people.The Chief Medical Officer of Civil Hospital Panipat, Dr H S Randhawa told Akashwani that around 35 people out of the 60 admitted in the civil hospital on Thursday, have been discharged after recovery. He said that one patient who was serious, has been referred to PGI Rohtak.
