In Jammu and Kashmir, at least six persons have been booked under Public Safety Act for supplying narcotic drugs to school children and other people in Pattan area of Baramulah district. Quoting civil and police officials our Baramula correspondent reports that the arrested persons were involved in drugs trafficking for so many years and were part of the drug mafia operating from north Kashmir. <br/>Meanwhile, the District Administration has decided to launch an all out campaign to close down all those shops selling illegal drugs besides organising seminars and public rallies against the drug abuse. <br/>
