In Uttar Pradesh, six persons have died and five seriously injured in the lightning strike yesterday at different places in Mirzapur district. Quoting police sources, AIR Lucknow Correspondent reports that three persons were struck by lightning in Pardi, two in Jigna and one in Marihan areas of the district. All the seriously injured persons have been admitted in the district hospital. Some livestock is also reported to be perished in the lightning.
