In Rajasthan, six persons were killed and 25 injured in a clash between two communities over a land dispute in Gopalgarh town of Bharatpur district on Wednesday. Fifteen companies of RAC and extra police force has been deployed in the area. 16 injured persons in this incident are being treated in hospitals of Jaipur, Alwar and Bharatpur. The situation is under control and peaceful in Gopalgarh town. Curfew is continuing in the Kaman tehsil.The state government has ordered an inquiry by senior IAS officer V S Singh and announced 5 lakh rupees ex-gratia to the families of those killed in the firing. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reviewed the situation in a high level meeting at Jaipur late last night. In this meeting, it was decided that if situation remains peaceful today, curfew will be relaxed for 3 hours in Gopalgarh. Home Minister Shanti Dhariwal, Chief secretary S. Ahmed and DG Police, Harish Chandra Meena will also visit the affected area on Friday.
