In Afghanistan, at least six people have died and more than 20 injured when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives near an army recruitment centre in the west of Kabul city today morning. Abdul Ghafor Sayedzada, chief of criminal investigation for the Kabul police, said that initial reports of the blast indicate that U.S. vehicles were targeted. But the area of the explosion is home to Afghan government buildings. NATO-led alliance did not provide any immediate details. Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack so far but Taliban-led groups have often carried out suicide attacks in capital Kabul. Today’s attack is the first major one after a similar attack on February 26 which killed 17 people including 7 Indian nationals.
