A 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit off Guatemala's Pacific coast on Thursday. The quake hit at 6:31 AM (local time). There were no immediate reports of any damage. The Geological Survey says the quake was centered about 38 kilometres southwest of Puerto San Jose and 10 kilometres below the surface.
