An earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale struck off the Santa Cruz Islands in Solomon Islands this afternoon. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was at a depth of 10 kilometres and about 355 kilometres north of the Vanuatu town of Luganville . There were no reports of damages or casualties. <br/>
