The U.S. Geological Survey said, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 was felt in the Himalayan region of Tibet today. It said, the earthquake was at about 300 kilometers northwest of the city of Qamdo. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the quake. Further details are awaited.
