India defeated Sri Lanka by 20 runs in the fifth and final cricket One-day international at Pallekele International Stadium in Pallekele last night. Set to score 295 for a win, the hosts were all out for 274 in 45.4 overs. Earlier, batting first, India had made 294 for seven in their 50 overs. Gautam Gambhir 88, Manoj Tiwary 65 and M S Dhoni 58 were the top scorers for the visitors. India clinched the series 4-1. India and Srilanka will play a Twnenty20 match on Tuesday.
