5th ODI: England win toss, elect to bowl against India

England have won the toss and opted to bowl against India in the fifth and final one day international cricket match at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Co. have already bagged the series by winning the first four ODIs with a sublime all-round performance. With the memories of the disastrous England tour still fresh, the Men in Blue will be desperate to clean sweep the visitors today and seal the series without a defeat. On the other hand, Alistair Cook and his men, will be looking to restore some of the lost pride with a victory.Due to overcast conditions in the city, the Cricket Association of Bengal is leaving no stone unturned to avoid a situation where rain could play spoilsport. For the first time in an ODI, covers for the entire ground have been arranged, with a staff of more than 50 people.
