England defeated India by seven wickets in the fifth and final One-Day International at Dharamsala yesterday. Chasing 227 runs for a win, the visitors achieved the target in 47.2 overs, losing three wickets. Earlier, put into bat, the hosts were all out for 226 in 49.4 overs. Ian Bell who remained unbeaten on 113 in the England innings was declared Man of the Match. Suresh Raina who made a brilliant 83, won the Man of the Series Award for his consistent performances.
