<span style="color: #222222;">The Minister of State for Labour and Employment Rameswar Teli today informed Lok Sabha that the 595 districts have been covered under the benefits of Employees' State Insurance (ESI) till date in the country.<br />'' <br />'' In a written reply, he said 441 districts are fully notified and in 154 districts prominent industrial centres are notified among total districts covered. Mr Teli said ESI beneficiaries have access to cashless medical treatment, by a defined referral procedure.<br />'' <br />'' This is done through the empanelled private hospitals in cases where the required treatment is not available in the ESI hospitals. He said there is no proposal to provide auto-referral to ESI beneficiaries for treatment through empanelled private hospitals.</span><br />''
