In the Football World Cup, the final round of the group stage matches will begin from tonight. In Group-B, Netherlands will take on Chile at S?o Paulo, while Spain will meet Australia at Curitiba. Both matches will be played at 9:30 PM Indian Time.

In Group-A, Brazil will clash with Cameroon at Bras?lia, and Mexico will play Croatia at Recife. These two matches will be played at 1:30 AM.

“With Netherlands and Chile already through to the last-16, the two Group-B matches to be played in a short while from now, will see which team will top the group.

However, the other two matches, Brazil-Cameroon and Mexico-Croatia, to be played later tonight, are crucial as they will determine the two teams that will qualify to the last-16 stage from Group-A. A victory or a draw for the hosts will ensure them a knock-out stage berth, while a defeat could make it tricky.

A loss would see Brazil finish with four points, a total that Croatia could match with a draw against Mexico. Goal difference will come into play then, with Mexico finishing at the top.

If Mexico beat Croatia, they will advance to the last-16, with Brazil, even if the home side loses. But if Mexico lose, Croatia will seal a last-16 berth, and the goal difference will decide whether Brazil will progress to the next round, or will it be Mexico.

Even with Neymar and Oscar, Brazil's forward line was stonewalled in the last game against Mexico, and it will play an pivotel role in this match, as Cameroon has defended quite badly so far. With a good defense and of course Ochoa under the bar, Mexico has been a decent side uptil now.

Mandzukic's return, on the other hand, has bolstered Croatia, and with Modric, Perisic, Olic and Srna already in the squad, it won't be a cakewalk for the Mexicans.
