India's campaign ended in the Indonesian Open Badminton tournament in Jakarta yesterday with the defeat of HS Prannoy and PV Sindhu in their quarter-finals matches. 

World number three and Olympic silver medalist Sindhu lost to Chinese He Bingjiao 14-21, 15-21 while eighth seed Prannoy was defeated by Shi Yuki of China 17-21, 18-21. 

Earlier, Kidambi Srikanth was knocked out in the first round and Olympic medallist Saina Nehwal lost in the Round of 16.
