Haryana girl Nitu won the Gold medal in the 48kg category at the AIBA World Women's Youth Boxing Championship on Sunday. In the event being held in Guwahati, Nitu defeated Kazakhstan's Zhazira Urakbayeva in the final. It is India's first Gold since Sarjubala Devi's gold in the 2011 edition of the event. Four more Indian boxers – Jyoti Gulia, Sakshi Chaudhary, Shashi Chopra and Ankushita Bora will also be in the title clashes on Sunday.
