Government today said 56 per cent of women are engaged in MGNREGA. Replying to supplementaries in Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Rural Development and Drinking Water, Ram Kripal Yadav said the living standard of women has improved due to MGNREGA.<br/><br/>Replying to main question, Rural Development Narendra Singh Tomar said the status of implementation of MGNREGS is reviewed on regular basis. He said the government is engaged with the State Governments in establishing systems to ensure provision of work as per demand.
