Delhi Police and the NGO, Bachpan Bachao Andolan today rescued 56 child labourers, from a Zari unit in South Delhi.<br/>The children had been brought from Nepal, West-Bengal and Bihar. They were rescued in a joint raid conducted by the NGO and the labour department of Delhi Police.<br/><br/>Bachpan Bachao Andolan said that strict action must be taken against the employer as the children were made to work for 12 hours every day in pitiable conditions.<br/><br/>
