The 55th National Games under-19 Tennis Ball Cricket Championships for Boys and Girls concluded in Jammu on Tuesday. In Girls segment, J &K team won the trophy while Jharkhand team bagged Silver Medal. Goa claimed the Bronze Medal. In Boys segment, Goa won the trophy with teams from Punjab and J&K getting silver and bronze medals respectively. J&K Minister for Higher Education, Labour and Employment Mr. Abdul Gani Malik distributed trophies and certificates among the players. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Malik reiterated that the Government is committed to churn out the talented sports persons by providing world standard facilities to the youth of the State. He emphasized the need for channelizing the hidden talent among youth of the State for producing national level athletes to the state sports.
