Global crude oil today traded in a narrow range ahead of Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's congressional testimony later in the day. Investors also remained cautious amid British inflation data which is still higher level and raised the possibility of a hawkish Bank of England policy decision this week.

In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading at 75 dollars and 80 cents a barrel. West Texas Intermediate crude price was at 71 dollars and 20 cents per barrel.
