Tom Latham has been appointed New Zealand captain for one-day matches against Ireland and Bangladesh ahead of the Champions Trophy. New Zealand Cricket said, the 25-year-old opening batsman will step in for usual captain Kane Williamson, who is playing in IPL.Vice-captain Tim Southee will also be playing in IPL when the triangular series starts in Ireland on the 12th of next month.The Champions Trophy starts in England on 1st of June.
