Olympic bronze medallist Saina Nehwal lost to Chinese Wang Yihan 16-21, 14-21 in the semifinal of the Asia Badminton Championships at Wuhan in China. In the quarterfinal yesterday, the World Number 8 Indian defeated former World Champion Shixian Wang of China. In another quarterfinal, the sixth seeded Chinese, Wang Yihan beat Japan's Nozomi Okuhara.
