In Cricket, India will clash with Bangladesh this evening in a must-win group game of the World T-20 at Bengaluru. This match will begin at 7:30 PM. Team India has won a game, and lost one, and will have to beat Bangladesh by a decent margin today to stay alive in the tournament. Bangladesh, which has lost both the matches played so far, is at the bottom of Group-2, and a defeat today will end their chances of progressing to the semi-finals.AIR correspondent reports, after recording their first-ever win against Pakistan at the Eden Gardens, the Men in Blue will face Bangladesh at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium today with that series defeat at the home of the Tigers still on the back of their minds. Although Team India had won both the games against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup, including the Final, it will be eying revenge especially with the World Cup semi-final berth on the line. Team India has relied heavily on Virat Kohli recently as its top order is failing to give a solid start. Kohli has been the lynch pin for India, not to mention his stellar performance against Pakistan, with Yuvraj and Dhoni being the other exceptions. Bangladesh, on the other hand, is low on ammunition as Tamim Iqbal, who scored Bangladesh's first T20 ton in the Qualifiers against Oman, had to miss the last game due to illness, and Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny have been banned by ICC for illegal bowling action. The Shakib Al Hasan-led Tigers, however, put up a powerful show against the Aussies, but could not win. All said and done, India's top order must start firing because Bangladesh won't be that easy to beat especially when its do or die for them too.In Group-1, England will meet Afghanistan at 3 PM in Delhi. In Women's World T20, South Africa will clash with Ireland in Chennai at 7:30 PM.
