Energy Minister M. Veerappa Moily says, about 55 thousand megawatt of power has been added in the country during 11th five year plan. He said in Jaipur today that GDP is directly connected with power production and to maintain 9 percent growth rate during 12th plan over 75 thousand megawatt additional power should be generated.He said that there is no shortage of power in the country and adequate electricity will be provided for Rajiv Gandhi Rural Electrification Mission.
Earlier Moily inaugurated a 132 KV grid substation in Phagi near Jaipur.
