54th All-India Police Duty Meet starts

54th All-India Police Duty Meet has begin in Jaipur today. Governor of Rajasthan Mr. Shivraj Patil inaugurated the6 day event in a colourful function at Rajasthan Police Academy. Police Duty meet would enable police officers to exchange ideas and strategies and benefit from each other's experiences. Special sessions on anti-sabotage check, scientific investigation, police photography, computer awareness and videography would be held during the meet, in addition to a competition of dog squads.Director-General of Police Harish Chandra Meena said the national event would be a milestone for the State Police and would lead to better management of manpower and resources. About 2000 participants from 27 states and central police forces are participating in various events in meet.
