The Chef De Missions of 8 participating countries in the upcoming South Asian Games have held a review meeting with the Organizing Committee in Guwahati on Monday. The 12th South Asian Games will be held in Guwahati and Shillong from 5th to 16th of next month. The Chef De Missions have been briefed on security measures and others facilities that would be provided to players and officials. Later, they will also visit games venue in Guwahati. The Organizing Committee said that 5 thousand players and officials will take part in the event. Union Sports minister Sarbanand Sonowal on Sunday in Guwahati said that all steps are being taken to bring the best ever South Asian Games. Meanwhile, last date for submission of media accreditation form for the event has been extended to 16th of this month.
