In the Wimbledon Tennis Championship, all the title clashes have been slated out for all the events.Today, in the summit clash of the women's singles event, world number one Serena Williams will be taking on a lesser-known opponent Garbine Muguruza from Spain. Serena overcame fourth seed Maria Sharapova in the semi finals, while Garbine stunned a higer-seeded opponent, Agnieszka Radawanska in the semis to make a Grand Slam debut. Serena holds five grass court grand slam titles alone and is venturing for her sixth title. The match is expected to begin at 6:30 pm Indian Time, and will be played at the Centre Court.Sania Mirza will also be eyeing for her first women's doubles grand slam title today. Top ranked, Sania and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis will be facing off second seeded Russian pair of Ekaterina Makarova and Elena Vesnina in the finals. Indo-Swiss pair Friday night entered finals after hammering fifth seed Americans Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears 6-1, 6-2 in the semi-finals. While Friday, in the men's semi finals, world number one and defending champion Novak Djokovic set up a final clash up against world number two and 7 times Wimbledon title holder Roger Federer. Serbian Djokovic outshined Richard Gasquet of France 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 on the other hand Swiss Federer entered finals by beating Briton Andy Murray. Federer defeated 3rd seed in straight sets of 7-5, 7-5, 6-4. Men's final is scheduled for tomorrow.Meanwhile, in the mixed doubles event, Leander Paes along with his Swiss partner entered the final. In the semi finals, Paes and Hingis unsettled the top American seed Mike Bryan and Bethanie Mattek-Sands 6-3, 6-4.
