Young Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth has clinched the Swiss Grand Prix Gold championship title. In a thrilling final at Basel, Switzerland on Sunday, the World No.4 overcame a strong challenge from Viktor Alexson of Denmark, who is ranked sixth in the world. The 22-year old Srikanth won in three games 21-15,12-21, 21-14 in the 120,000 US Dollar event. The contest lasted 47 minutes. Earlier, Srikanth had won a Grand Prix Gold title in Thailand Open in 2013, and finished runners-up at the 2014 India Open Grand Prix Gold event in Lucknow.
