India's junior women lifters have bagged medals at the 17th Asian Youth (boys & girls) and 22nd Junior Women Championships in Doha, Qatar. In the Junior Women's 53 kg Pramila Krisani lifted 76 kg in snatch and 101 kg in clean & jerk for an overall 177kg to seal the silver medal in her favour.Joti Mal's effort of 168kg earned her the third position behind Pramila for the bronze medal.According to a release by the Indian Weightlifting Federation, in the Junior Men's category, the Indians failed to make it to the podium.On Friday, in the Youth Boys 62kg division, Lalu Taku had won a gold, while Deepak Lather settled for silver.
