The Title match of World Chess Championship 2014 between challenger and five-time champion Viswanathan Anand of India and current world champion, Magnus Carlsen of Norway, has begun in Sochi, Russia. In the opening game, Anand is playing with White pieces, while the defending champion is having Black pieces. The first player to attain Six and a Half points will become world champion. A win fetches One Point, while a Draw will earn Half-a-Point. The Championship Match will consist of 12 games and if necessary, tie-break games.
