Defending champions Air India Sports Promotion Board retained their title defeating Comptroller & Auditor General Of India 4-1 in the final of the 4th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2014 at Delhi today. Air India scored their first goal in the 14th minute,second in the 29th and 3rd goal in the 39th minute, all through conversions of penalty corners by Gaganpreet Singh .In the 59th minute Comptroller & Auditor General of India got their lone goal when Dhyan Sungh successfully converted a penal stroke.Immediately after Air India scored their 4th goal,sealing the fate of the opponents.Earlier, hosts Uttar Pradesh overcame Railway Sports Promotion Board 4-2 to claim third position in the championship .
