536 new cases of COVID-19 UAE take total number of cases to 10,349

<span style="color: #222222;">UAE today said that 536 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country taking the total number of cases to 10,349.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to a statement by Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP), UAE plans to intensify screening of the virus in order to contain the spread of COVID-19. Till now, more than one million people in the UAE have been screened for Coronavirus.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The UAE Ministry of Health announced the death of five patients from COVID-19. The deceased are of various nationalities and suffered from pre-existing chronic illnesses. The total number of deaths has now reached 76.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Ministry also announced the full recovery of 91 new cases after receiving the necessary treatment, taking the total number of recoveries in the UAE to 1,978.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In Dubai, metro services, public bus and taxi services resumed today. However, commuters have been strictly advised to wear face masks and adhere to social distancing norms.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile in Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom has ordered for partial relaxation of curfew except in the holy city of Makkah and some of the isolated hotspot around the city.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Saudi Press Agency reported that the Kingdom will allow the reopening of some commercial and economic activities starting from 29th April , 2020 and until 13th May, 2020. This includes retail shops and shopping centres.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">According to the Interior ministry spokesman, Saudi Arabia will however, continue with the suspension of international and domestic flights until further notice, with the exception of emergency cases, due to the novel Coronavirus pandemic.</span><br />
