536 Gentelman Cadets pass out IMA

A total of 536 Gentelman Cadets (GCs) including 18 from friendly nations, passed out from the prestigious Indian Military Academy, IMA, Dehradun. Nepalese Army Chief General Chhatra Man Singh Gurung was the Reviewing Officer of the impressive passing out parade, held on the drill square in front of the historic Chetwode building. Nepalese Army chief in his address stressed upon the friendly relations between India and Nepal. While 504 GCs become part of the Indian Army, 14 others will join paramilitary force Assam Rifle. <br/><br/>Out of the total 18 GCs from friendly nations, six are from Bhutan, four from Sri Lanka, two each from Nepal, Kazakhstan and Maldives and one each from Tajikistan and Mauritius.
